Which clauses we routinely negotiate.
For bulk shipments, FOB and CFR are the most common clauses. CIF is used when additional insurance is needed. DAP only in exceptional cases for land transport.

Free On Board
Standard for bulk shipments from origin port. Risk transfers upon loading onto the vessel.
CFR
Cost and Freight
Includes sea freight to destination port. Insurance is borne by the buyer.
CIF
Cost, Insurance & Freight
Includes sea freight and insurance to destination port.
DAP
Delivered At Place
Delivery to named place, without unloading.

Originals under LC conformity; with SBLC including quality settlement clause.

Marine Cargo Insurance (Institute Cargo Clauses A) as standard, optional War & Strikes.
